TEXAS GANG INVESTIGATORS AWARD JUDGE OF THE YEAR

San Antonio, June 26, 2018– The Texas Gang Investigators Association (TGIA) has served Texas since 1991. TGIA is a not-for-profit volunteer organization made up of law enforcement, corrections, probation, parole and prosecution professionals who focus on gang related crimes such as human trafficking and drug-related or violent crimes. The Texas Gang Investigators Association was formed to promote a closer working relationship among gang investigators across Texas and the nation. TGIA recognizes one Judge each year for his or her outstanding contributions in the battle against gangs and organized crime.


The 2018 T.G.I.A. Judge of the Year is the Honorable Brad Hart of the 230 th District Court in Harris County, Texas. Judge Hart is always willing to assist investigators in the warrant process, even when it isn’t convenient for him. “His legal stewardship allows justice to be served in a timely manner. We applaud Judge Hart for his efforts on the bench,” said Martin “Ringo” TGIA President . This award was presented at the 27 th Annual Conference. TGIA has more than 1500 members from across Texas and the nation and has been in existence since 1991.
